GreenBees
is an
International
Solidarity
Organisation,
which
aims
to
defend and foster cultural diversity in
depressed areas.
The
association gathers together men and women,
who share the same values and commitments, as described below:

We believe that the world is
enriched
by a diversity of cultures and that knowledge of
one’s culture is essential when nurturing personal identity and self-esteem.

We believe that cultural projects can help and we
are committed to setting up cultural activities for children living in deprived
areas. This is done ideally at school, under the supervision of
the teachers.

We are all volunteers, and join the association via a
"sponsor". We receive no salary, and are
scrupulous in ensuring every donation reaches its specified local
programme.

We respect the children, the teachers and the
local teams. The teams will include as many local people as
possible. We foster a spirit of solidarity and generosity, and transfer
the skills and knowledge to the best of our abilities.

We care for the environment, when selecting
the material and resources, including how
they are used and disposed of.
